Is this baby mine, I don't know?
Met this girl and had sex on May 5th. Her last period was April 8th making her fertility window the 18th to the 28th and she claimed to be on the depo shot. Two weeks later on the 19th she starts vomiting. I was told that started 6 weeks after... not 2. Not being in her window and her being on the shot and vomiting after only 2 weeks... what are the chances that it is mine? Please help?

- uhhhh....I think you're getting too technical. It's possible that she has slept with someone else. Guess you've got to wait it out.
- Vomiting can start that soon. As for it being yours, it is unlikely but possible.
- Morning sickness never starts less than four week pregnant. This is also when one would be able to take a test and get an accurate response of positive. This is when the hormones begin to present themselves. Once she is given her date of conception by the doctor you will be more sure of the paternity. But if you had sex for the first time May 5th and she got morning sickness on the 19th it is very unlikely that you are the father. But the only way to be absolutely positive is to get a paternity test.
- If you had sex with her, then it could be yours. Every woman and every pregnancy is different. I had Hyperemesis Gravidarum in my first trimester, which is nausea that starts earlier, lasts longer, and is more severe than regular pregnancy nausea. It's possible she could have that. I had moderately severe HG and I started vomiting within 3 weeks of conceiving. I've known women who have started vomiting within 2 weeks with HG. So, don't base your hopes on the timing of her morning sickness. If there's actually a question here--i.e. she's had sex with multiple guys within that time frame--then you will have to get a DNA test done. The depo shot is not 100% effective. No birth control is. Ovulation is also not set in stone. It's possible to ovulate several days early or late.
