Can a I force my ex to get a paternity test so i can prove her baby is mine?

My ex is pregnate and thinks it is somebody elses. However she concived at the time that we were having intercourse. I want the baby to be mine. Am I allowed to make her get a paternity test so that I can prove the child is mine so that I may obtain custody?

You will not get custody unless you can prove she is a bad mother. You will have to pay child support

If a Judge issues a Court Order, yes. Then he'll slap you with child support. Kind of an expensive way of perpetuating a doomed relationship, I think.
You can get a judge to order the test. Full or primary custody would be difficult. You would have to demonstrate that the child's welfare would be better served. Joint custody or at least visitation should not be a problem unless there is something about you that would prevent it. And yes you probably would be ordered to pay support. But not necessarily.
what makes you think u will get the baby? chances are she will get to keep it AND get child support out of this. go ahead to court and get an order...but settle for joint custody...she is carrying the baby for 9 months....and a baby needs its mother more than everything (my lame ass father left my mom and i turned out okay).
